Recently, the college hosted the graduation ceremony of the study visit and exchange program for key teachers from Saint Petersburg State Transport University. The Vice President of the college, Ni Ju, the Vice President of the Eurasian International Association, Jing Lewei, and a delegation of 16 key teachers from Saint Petersburg State Transport University, along with responsible officials from relevant departments and representatives of the teaching management team attended the ceremony. The graduation ceremony was presided over by the person in charge of Silk Road Academy (International Education College).
In his speech, Ni Ju stated that during this exchange, teachers from Saint Petersburg gained a deeper understanding of the current development and future trends of China's high-speed rail. By participating in a series of well-designed courses and practical activities, their professional skills and teaching abilities were enhanced. Education knows no borders; exchange promotes development. This study visit and exchange was not only an exchange of knowledge and skills but also a collision of minds and integration of cultures. Through this exchange, mutual understanding and friendship were deepened, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two institutions.
Jing Lewei, in her speech, represented the Eurasian International Association to express gratitude towards Zhengzhou Railway Vocational & Technical College and congratulated the teachers from Saint Petersburg State Transport University on successfully completing their study tasks. She stated that educational exchange is an important part of Sino-Russian university cooperation. The association will continue to strengthen cooperation with universities at home and abroad, enhancing cultural understanding and identification among different countries and regions.
Anton Burliudov said in his speech that the study visit provided the teachers with valuable insights into the principles of high-tech transportation system construction, characteristics of development, and educational and organizational methods. The professionalism of the Chinese faculty and the quality of the training content left a profound impression on everyone.
During this study visit and exchange, teachers from Saint Petersburg State Transport University participated in nine professional lectures, eleven specialized training sessions, and three field visits. Exchange activities were organized by various teaching units such as School of Locomotive and Rolling Stock, School of Electrical Engineering, School of Railway Engineering, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Transport Management, and School of Electrical Engineering; Silk Road Academy (International Education College) was responsible for translation and cultural exchange work.
